Snowpiercer: Ark of the Future (2013) – A Train That Cannot Stop In 2014, a failed experiment to stop global warming led to a new ice age, destroying nearly all life on Earth. The only survivors are the passengers of the Snowpiercer – a gigantic train powered by a "perpetual motion" engine, which travels around the globe in an endless journey. Inside the train, a rigid caste system prevails. The inhabitants of the last cars live in poverty and are brutally treated by the guards, while the elite in the front cars indulge in luxury. Curtis (Chris Evans), the charismatic leader of the oppressed, decides to incite a rebellion. Along with a group of rebels, he fights his way through the cars to reach the mythical engine and take control of the train. Each successive car is a different world, a different secret, and an even greater price for freedom.
