Spider-Man 2 (2004)

Two years have passed since the events of the first film. Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) has broken up with Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst). The young man is going through tough times as he struggles to balance a normal life with being a superhero. When Mary Jane decides to marry J.J. Jameson's (J.K. Simmons) son, Peter resolves to completely sever ties with Spider-Man. However, he soon changes his mind when a mad scientist, Dr. Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina), threatens the city after a failed experiment transforms him into Doctor Octopus. The madman, intent on reviving his experiment, kidnaps Mary Jane…
